On the outskirts of Canyamel – just before the famous Torre de Canyamel, which houses a small museum and a well-known restaurant – lies this enchanting finca in a romantic location in a wooded area.

From the property you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside as far as the Castell de Capdepera.

The main finca and a guest house are built on a gentle slope between wild olives, rare old holm oaks, palm trees and pine trees.

As soon as you enter the main building, you realize that this is a very special property. Due to the hillside location, there are two open levels, which only create a visual separation, but are nevertheless communicatively connected through the open design.
A typical Mallorcan kitchen, which exudes both rustic charm and modern elegance, forms the center of the house together with the dining area with a brick bench.
The adjoining, generously covered terrace invites you to enjoy a cozy get-together.

Below the dining area in the house is the cozy living area with a large fireplace. Both the kitchen and the living room provide access to various terrace areas, most of which are covered.
Similar to the house, the terraces have also been laid out on different levels and thus offer a magnificent view over the property and the surrounding countryside.

Two bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom with bathtub and access to the terrace, and a further bathroom with shower complete the living area.
The en suite bathroom is the absolute highlight of the personal area, as you can look out from the slightly lowered bathtub through a window integrated into the room onto the bedroom and across the terrace to the outside.

A former terrace integrated into the house, which has been closed off by a glazed, arched door and converted into a cozy reading room with a view of the outdoors, offers an additional feel-good area and retreat.

In the separate guest house, which is located opposite the main entrance to the finca, there is a further bedroom with access to the terrace and a spacious bathroom. Despite the proximity to the main building, guests will find plenty of privacy here.

A few steps lead from the terraces of the main building to the large pool area, which is beautifully embedded in the natural surroundings thanks to the Mediterranean vegetation all around the property.
A quarry stone floor, made from particularly durable stone from Barcelona, surrounds the 43 m2 pool. A large outdoor shower with hot and cold water offers additional comfort.

The property is not visible and therefore offers complete privacy.
Not only due to its idyllic location, but also due to the unusual design and room layout, this is a very special property that is second to none.

Lage:

Canyamel on Mallorca is a small and quiet vacation resort in the municipality of Capdepera, six kilometers south of Cala Ratjada and not far from the Coves d`Artà stalactite caves.

Canyamel is surrounded on both sides by wooded hills 200 to 300 meters high, which lead to Cap des Pinar to the southwest and Cap Vermell to the northeast, where the stalactite caves are located.

The Torrent de Canyamel flows through the middle of Canyamel and divides the village in two. There is a bridge over the torrent, which was completed in 2008. The torrent ends at the beach – Platja de Canyamel – which is 300 meters long and has very fine sand. It is also characterized by its natural beauty and the cliff bay, which is lined with pine trees.

The village offers stores for daily needs as well as a few restaurants and cafés. Further stores and shopping facilities can be found in the neighboring towns of Artà, Capdepera and Cala Ratjada.

For golfers, Canyamel offers an excellent course in a spectacular location with views as far as Menorca – as well as three other golf courses in the surrounding area.
