This finca on a plot of almost 160,000 m2 and is located in the hills in front of Artà, offering views of the monastery hill of Sant Salvador.
Despite the proximity to the village, one has absolute peace and privacy on your own mountain side.
The property comprises three parcels. On the largest of them there are three buildings with a constructed area of 222 m2, which can be used as a base area for renovation.
The finca was completed in 1935. The building, which is in need of renovation, currently has four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
A project has not yet been submitted. So everything is left to the new owner.
For the new building on the old foundation walls one should expect a costs of around 900,000 euros – depending on the desired equipment.
There is a private well for the water supply.
Electricity would be generated by solar cells.
The traditional town of Artà is located in the middle of a wide valley at the foot of a small mountain in the northeast of Mallorca. Most of the town center has been converted into a pedestrian zone.
The town is overlooked by the fortified Santuari Sant Salvador, which is one of the main sights of the town. The sanctuary and its walls were originally built in the 14th century and then reconstructed in the 19th century.
The area around Artà is known for its pottery production and basketry. Archaeological excavations – such as the talayotic settlement of Ses Paisses – have unearthed woven fibers that indicate the craft is one of the oldest on the island.
A walk through the ramparts of the Islamic castle Almudaina d’Artà offers wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. There are some beaches that you can hike to. The way there is just as beautiful as the beaches themselves. Also worth seeing are the Cuevas d’Artà stalactite caves on the coast.
Artà hosts two markets. The general market in Plaça del Conqueridor and the handicrafts market in the Villa Na Batlessa property. Both take place on Tuesday mornings and are particularly popular with local residents.
Palma can be reached in about an hour’s drive.

Due to the fact that the buildings are in existence from 1935,
a reformation with the same floor plan is possible without any problems (after appropriate approval of the building application to be submitted) – one can do extensions but no information available. An architect would have to be consulted for this.
