This spacious detached house, which was built in 2005 and is located on a corner plot with over 800 m2.
Great importance was attached to the design and the materials used to build this property.
One can reach the house through the garage entrance. This leads from the gate along the property. The first part is covered with a large carport, so that the driveway can also be used as a parking space. The 120 m2 underground car park is currently being used for other purposes and thus complements the 250 m2 living area.
The garage area of the previous owner was used to store several motorcycles and a party cellar with a large seating area with its own kitchen.
Today the kitchen and the large seating area are still there. The motorbikes were exchanged for fitness equipment and a separate, private studio was created. There is also a large storage area and technical room for the heating system.
In front of the entrance to the staircase there is a corner shower with massage function and a bathroom with sink and toilet.
The ground floor, where the main entrance is located, is reached via the staircase.
A steel gate leads from the street to the front garden.
The entrance hall with white marble floor leads to the living area. A marble staircase leads from here to the upper floor.
The 146 m2 on the ground floor is divided into a fitted kitchen with a large seating area, with many built-in cupboards and marble worktops. There is a living room with another dining area, a single room, which is currently used as a storage room, and a bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom including a shower and whirlpool tub. Another shower room serves as a guest bathroom.
From the living room, kitchen and master bedroom one can access the terrace and the garden area below with pool and outdoor barbecue. The saltwater pool is bordered by a large wooden decking area and a strip of lawn.
The 104 m2 upper floor comprises two double bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom, a single bedroom (which is currently being used as a study) and a room open to the stairwell, which currently houses another seating area.
Three of the rooms have access to the balcony overlooking the garden area. The largest of the bedrooms also has an exit to a private balcony.
This house offers plenty of space for the whole family with leisure and hobbies.
Marratxi the town and district, is one of the most populated areas of Mallorca and located 18 km north of Palma. Over 37,000 people live in the residential areas of Pont d’Inca, Pla de na Tesa, Sa Cabaneta and Pòrtol.
The relatively prosperous town of Marratxi appeals to those wanting a spacious, tranquil home not far from Palma. The international schools contribute to the growth of the community.
Talayotic, Roman and Moorish archaeological remains have been found in this area, linked to Mallorca’s rich history.
Son Bonet Airfield is also not far from Marratxi and was Mallorca’s first civilian airfield. The first commercial flight took off from here in 1927.
The Pottery Museum and the numerous pottery workshops show the great importance of this craft, which has been attributed to Marratxi since the end of the 17th century. Many of the workshops are located in historic buildings, where visitors can admire and purchase antique objects and unique handicrafts.
The Museu del Fang pottery museum is housed in an old mill in Sa Cabaneta and includes hundreds of traditional and contemporary ceramic pieces, as well as tools and objects donated by the clay factories. The different areas are dedicated to jugs, crockery, pots and of course Mallorca’s emblematic clay pipe, known as the Siurell.
Local artisans exhibit their wares at the popular Fira del Fang pottery fair every April. The week-long event offers the opportunity to meet artisans and discover traditional as well as contemporary ceramic styles. Each year the fair is dedicated to a different theme.
Marratxi is about 18 km north of Palma and offers its residents the advantages of a big city living. Hospitals, schools, shops, restaurants and banks are in close proximity. If you don’t want to drive, you can take the train from Marratxi to Palma’s Plaza España intermodal station in 15 minutes.
