In a small side street, in the popular town of Capdepera, stands this beautiful town house built in 1915. The front facade hides the jewel hidden behind it.
In 2021/2022 the building was completely and comprehensively renovated during a construction period of 18 months.
With great attention to detail and high -quality materials, a modern town house was created.
It impresses with many of its older elements – such as the upper floor with hydraulic tiles and double wooden doors. The windows were specially made for the house by a carpenter from Artà. They act as traditional windows of the Mallorcan houses but have double glazing and thus good heat insulation.
The high ceilings were uncovered and the original wooden beams were restored. Cover beams made of concrete were used in a room. In addition, steel beams were laid into the false ceiling.
The roof was restored, isolated and re -covered.
The electrical and water pipes were relocated throughout the house.
The living space of 215 m2 is spread over two floors. There is also a small vaulted cellar where a wine cellar could be designed. The house also has approximately 12 m2 garage space with an adjacent storage area.
When one enters the house, one immediately notices the designed entrance area with high ceilings. To the right of the entrance is a separate room, which could be used as a bedroom or study. This room has not yet been set up.
The living/dining area borders directly onto the entrance with the a staircase leading to the upper floor.
The living area comprises a cozy seating area with a sofa, interesting decorative details and a built-in cabinet in a space for the TV.
A new pellet oven was installed between the hallway and the living area, which also radiates heat to the upper floor via a piping system.
The open kitchen with wooden fronts and many refinements offers enough space and there is an adjacent utility room for washing machine and storage of food or cleaning utensils.
The kitchen island, optically separates the living area from the kitchen and opens up towards the dining area with a stove, exiting onto the terrace and adjacent bathroom.
There are currently 2 double bedrooms that have already been set up on the upper floor.
Another room could be designed as a bedroom or as a dressing room.
A 5th bedroom, which is accessible from the upper terrace and has its own balcony. This is still a shell and offers space for many new ideas, such as a study, a wellness bath with a steam bath or sauna or just another bedroom . There are also two modern and spacious bathrooms on the upper floor.
